Delete branch "tj-contact-retire"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Matt asked (2026-09-11) for the tech-journal page to just say "contact me to add your TJ" for now, and to shelve fixing the proxy job. Also folds in the last of the public-site GitLab links ahead of retiring VM 116.
Changes:
src/pages/techjournals/other-folks.astro: the "Add Your Techjournal" button now reads Contact me to add your TJ; the modal body is a short note linking/contact; the proxy config/env coupling is dropped.public/scripts/techjournal-submission.js: the proxy POST path and its form validation are removed (no submit button remains), so nothing calls the dying proxy. The acknowledgement modal still works.policy.md(LICENSE),index.astro(x2, relabelled Forgejo), the tech-journal "Courses Detected" header link, and a commented-out line inLayout.astro.Locally:
npm ci && npm run build→ 168 pages, clean. Nothing callsglp.mattcompton.devfrom this page any more.
